Add this charming English Imari plate to your display cabinet. It is full of detail on a creamy background and the primary color is the Oriental rust that is so handsome. The scalloped edge is banded with gold. There are some numbers and an impressed maker's mark on the piece that I cannot decipher, but I would estimate that this piece is from the mid-late 1800s. The plate is finely crazed that comes with age. There is some darkness underneath the glaze on the back that does not show through to the front. 8 5/8" diameter.
