This is a charming English Imari plate to add to your display cabinet. It is hand painted with lots of cobalt blue, rust, and gold. The edge is scalloped. There are some numbers written in red ink under the glaze and a single small impression in the center of the plate that I cannot decipher, but I would estimate that this piece is from the mid-late 1800s. The plate has fine crazing and mottling that comes with age. 9" diameter. FREE US shipping!
