I have an entire collection of Dresden china by Schumann, Bavaria Tirschenreuth-The Dresden, Dresden Schumann Bavaria, and Dresden Schumann with a gold crown.
All the pieces have the Dresden floral pattern.
This listing is a wonderful compote in the Dresden floral pattern. The outer band is 1 1/2" wide with alternating reticulated (or pierced) flowers and cross hatched panels. The interior of the bowl is a beautiful Dresden floral pattern.
The diameter of the bowl is 6 3/4". The pedestal base is 3" high and attaches with a wing nut on a screw rod. The total height is 5". The backstamp is blue. It is a coat of arms with a lion inside it. Above is Dresden. Underneath is "Schumann; Bavaria"---ca. 1918-1920, possibly, according to online research.
The compote is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and extremely minimal gold rubbing.
