This is an outstanding European HANDMADE linen and lace tablecloth. The edging is filet lace. The insertions into the linen are needlepoint lace. The cutwork and embroidery pattern is lovely. It is in excellent vintage condition with only a few broken brides and one small 3/8" dark spot. Size is 74" x 92".
NOTE: These photos were taken on my breakfast room table, which is a dark oak. On some of them, what you see through the lace at the bottom is my floor, which is a wood/tile combination.
I have a collection of 16 vintage tablecloths to present to you. You can find them all in one spot by typing tablecloth into the SEARCH box. Most are very fine HAND MADE ones, probably European. These are extremely hard to find and quite expensive for me to purchase. Sorry for the prices, but they are treasures. There will be a few of more modest quality with a much cheaper price.
All could do double duty as a bed cover as well as a table cloth.
