SOMETHING OLD presents a most unusual serving spoon. The bowl is made of mother of pearl etched and shaped in a leaf design. The twisted gold metal handle has a fleur de lis on the end. One side of the twist has a scrolling pattern. The opposite side has a zippered pattern. There are no chips or cracks in the pearl bowl. The handle has some slight separation that a jeweler should be able to attend to if it bothers you. The spoon is 8 5/8" long. The bowl is 2 1/2"x 3". I think it is a real beauty, and it hails from the turn of the century!
